Teams train as a group weekly to condition their bodies to the stress of fighting with an additional 80 pounds of steel armor. You would be committing yourself to being at practices every weekend with like minded modern day knights that want to compete in one of the most dangerous sports ever created.
You WILL get hurt.
It's not a question of if, its a question of when. This is a full contact fighting sport with REAL steel axes, sword and maces. Joints get wrecked , bones get broken and you will not walk away the same person you were before you started. Are you willing to make that sacrifice?
